2027 Committees

The new Management Committee will be confirmed at the Region’s Annual General Meeting this Sunday at Club Dalmeny.

Outgoing committee members are Jeanette Shimeld (President), Lorraine Bird (Treasurer) and John Chalker (Secretary).

Continuing committee members are Jamie Thelander (St Georges Basin), Hellen Hastings (Greenwell Point) and Match Committee Chairperson, Kaine Malone (Malua Bay).

Stephen Munce (Culburra) will join the incoming committee.

There are currently two vacant positions on the committee. One expression of interest has been received and will be considered by the incoming committee to fill one of these casual vacancies.

The new committee will meet immediately following the AGM to allocate committee roles and portfolios.

In accordance with the Region’s regulations, expressions of interest for sub-committees were considered by the current Management Committee at its meeting on 9 August 2026.

The committee extends its sincere thanks to those who served on the previous sub-committees and to everyone who expressed interest in serving on the upcoming committees.

Update

Kerry Starr (Milton-Ulladulla) has been appointed to the position of Treasurer. The role of Secretary remains vacant. Pursuant to clause 14.1(b) of the Region’s constitution there remains one position for a female to join the Managment committee.

In the interim, John Chalker has been appointed Region Coordinator (honorary) pursuant to clause 18.1 of the constitution.

He will continue perofrm all roles of the Secretary, other than vote at Management committee meetings.
